Long-Term Investment, Lasting Impact

We commit nearly a decade to each student who enters our program—walking with them from the academy into university and adulthood—so that transformation is deep, lasting, and multiplied.

We are seeing graduates promote peace, equity, tribal unity, and development across communities and at governmental levels. This long-term approach is effective because it forms leaders over time—spiritually, academically, and practically—so they are equipped to transform nations from within for the glory of God.

“I used to think leadership was about giving instructions and ensuring tasks were completed,” she admits. “But here (LASS), I learned that true leadership is about nurturing, inspiring, and empowering others. It’s about leading with patience, empathy, and a heart for service.” - Alice, LASS Alumni  (i can submit her photo upon request)

“I feel prepared to take on leadership roles at any level, knowing that each opportunity presents a chance to contribute to the well-being and advancement of our community.”   - Kiden, LASS Alumni and first female chairperson for the Makerere University South Sudanese Students Association (MUSSSA) since its inception in 1996.
